Originally built around the 17th century, our traditional village inn lies directly on Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk and marks 66 miles left to Robin Hood's Bay.
We are extremely proud to be voted North West Yorkshire CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2012 and again featured in the Good Beer Guide 2013. We offer a comprehensive selection of local real ales, a real cider and wholesome pub meals. We have up to 5 real ales during the walking season.
We have comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation for those needing to rest their weary legs and for the more intrepid traveller, we have a number of camping pitches.
